Information
In general this is a very good all round beach. It is a sandy beach with no rock outcrops. To the south of the beach, towards Aberdeen there are remains of fence posts that are a hazard but can be seen at low tide.

Ideal for kite surfing as there are not very big waves, gently shelving and not very crowded. The tide comes up close to the sand dunes when high, so landing kites may be difficult at high tide.
